Swiss baselard dagger 14th/15thC

This classic German and Swiss medieval dagger of the 14th, 15th and 16thC is based on multiple examples.  Constructed very differently to the Italian and English variants, using a whittle tang rather than scale tang, this medieval baselard dagger has a short and stout double sided blade with a small amount of flare near the guard.

These examples shown with custom metal work.
